Discussion Getting braces removed
Solution
What should i ask my ortho for after i get them removed, is a retainer looksmax or looks minimise?
Looksmax for sure, because it keeps your teeth in the closest shape possible to when your braces were removed. Without it your teeth may relapse and move away

Your teeth are constantly under pressure from chewing, speaking; even natural aging puts some pressure on teeth. After orthodontic treatment is over, the ligaments and bone surrounding your teeth need time to stabilize in their new positions. If you skip the retainer, your teeth could gradually move back into their pre braces position or even worse within a matter of time, depending how much you use your mouth, like chewing etc

Teeth shifting can begin within weeks of not wearing a retainer. In the first few months after treatment, your teeth are especially vulnerable to movement. If you go too long without wearing your retainer, you may notice small gaps, crowding, or misalignment returning. In severe cases, you may even need orthodontic treatment again. Meaning you have to spend more money to redo your teeth, and moneymaxxing is pretty hard lmao.

If you eat a lot, obviously you do, and move your mouth a lot, while talking. Teeth is going to change because of consistent movement .

I think after 3-6 months you can wear it only at night. I don’t think there’s anything really effective keeping your teeth together besides those inside braces
