I've been seeing some misunderstandings and I just want to make sure I know my stuff

It works even after the sutures are closed cause it's bone-borne force,and eventually it'll split the zygomaxillary sutures and you can't just use a reverse pull headgear to bring the maxilla forward if you need to,but marpe works for sure and if you're 25+ get a sarpe or an fme

Im 15. Would a headgear work on me? Im afraid im too late to get a somewhat better maxillary development without surgery

Yes it will work,I said it in the reply,it will split the maxillary suture and loosen the zygomaxillary sutures and you can just use a reverse pull facemask and it will pull the maxilla forward,and if your mandible is not so forwardly grown it will accommodate to the maxilla and grown forward (just a little note,It will not make the mandible taller,but the growth will be postural only,the mandible will be brought forward),check out bwython on tiktok or jawhacks
