Im getting a NHS dentist a appointment after some while soon, yet i don't want to risk any extractions or goyfodontics. My palate is a little bit narrow, and braces would also help. But I'll straight up refuse any extractions or anything that involves recession, intentionally or not. Im in no way knowledgeable in this subject, could anyone here share their experiences with NHS dentist & what to say?. Feedback preciated :feelsokman:

Idk really know what you could say to them because i'm not from the uk and I was young so they did shi while I mildly understand it. But if it's in Europe, they would probably get you and palate expander like this:

You could have a mandibular expander but I dont think you'll get that cause i reckon you're tad bit old.
And after that your whole palate was expanded(two front teeth with a gap),you would get braces.
You could do mewing while having braces but idk if thats optimal if you want the braces result quicker.
My whole orthodontics journey happened from when I was 10(or 9) to 13 yo.
Mandibular expander- a year and a half
Palate expander- 1 or 2 months
Braces- 8 months+ mewing(orthotropics)
All in chronological order.
I also was on the free healthcare of France. Hope it helped you

im currently 16 and have never had dentist work done, literally none. I've had checkups when i was younger, but could never get a appointment post age 8. My main issue is pallete, my bite & jaw are actually quite good. I wonder if i can persuade them to expand, not extract and retract. And since the NHS dentist is free, they'll go for the latter likely unfortunately. I think my best option is marpe, daemon braces & some sort of face mask to pull teeth forward? im not too sure.

^ this means just refusing everything dr moneygoldburg-stein says at the dentist most likely. Fucking niggas think they can get me to consume fluoride? nice try, fluoride free toothpaste ONLY.

Js get marpe and braces afterward without elastics and extractions to close the front gap

Yeah that's what im planning with daemon braces. It's all quite worrying really, injecting myself with cheap Chinese research chemicals are easier on the mind than fucking dental work.

I don't really know if they would extract, it's more frequent in the US but in Europe not that much. Praying to Gandy that they don't extract any teeth. I only know 1 people that needed 1 extraction for braces.
