Hi, im 14 and i have a slightly flat maxilla. My orthodontist doesnt want to give me a palatal expander, cause my palate is 'wide enough' while its kind of average to narrow but thats off the list. Thats literally the only way i know how to fix it. Can someone please give tips?

im talking about my dads genes, if im lucky my palate might grow to 7. Unfortunately its not U-shaped and its narrow. its like 4 CM rn, but hoping to get to 7.
