I revise (or study) by making notes in class and just giving them a skim through. Since I'm doing Theory in Computing then I just make notes on a Docs so I can access it at home, just write whatever you think is necessary and then format it properly when you get home so it's easier to revise.

I just write whatever the fuckass professor has to say and then I gotta teach myself the contents. The bad thing is that I memorize all the info instead of actually understanding what the fuck I'm learning

One way thats helpful is flashcards and making little quizzes for yourself, theres plenty of apps out there that can help with that
