In search of underrated anime from 2007-2016

Since it's winter, lately I've been rotting alot in my room after school. so I started to watch anime again.
Though eventually I've became bored of the copy paste slop that came out these last years so I started watching old anime and for some reason I fell in luv.

I don't know if it's the actually original artstyle or the fact that the plots are actually decent instead of some shit harem isekai where the mc is obnoxious asf and he gets a op familiar and power and the girls have massive tits and...... you know the rest

So I've come to ask suggestions on these gems of the past
and if you did not understand from the title no mainstream shows, I've probs already watched them all (except one piece, fuck one piece)

Death note is super hit or miss, totally depends on your taste if you want a longer anime I'd say attack on titan, mid length code geass and a short anime maybe gurren lagann. Code geass geass is also really hit or miss but its worth watching
