Orbitals aren’t bones

They are anatomical regions, not bones themselves. The supraorbitals are apart of the frontal, and the infraorbitals are apart of the maxilla/zygomatic. If you look at the picture, where there are sutures (joints of the skull), there is a separation of separate bones.
oh so separation points from the anatomical region rigth? from the zygomatic arch and zygos and frontal? didn't know that, mirin the 271 posts

‘Orbitals’ are just referring to the part of the frontal, zygo, and maxilla that make up the orbit of the eye socket. Not bones, just regions.

Same thing for example like the ramus. It’s still the mandible, it’s just projecting back part of the mandible. Not a different bone.

right, they are separate bones that conform a region but not a individual one, would the "anatomical orbital box" be appropiate to refer to the combination of those? (frontal zygos, eye sockets, etc)
