I see many clinics are now promoting lipolab+botox for slight reduction in alar width and tip.

While i was looking at results i noticed all of the “results” were angle frauded.

Currently taking tane but not seeing almost any difference in nose size 2+months in.

Bit short on the money for alarplasty😔

Meh not much u can research about it

Tip bulbousity can be slightly improved with lipolab since there’s a small amount of fat in the tip, but as for alarwidth obv nothing u can do since it’s just cartilage.

With botox you can only inhibit the muscles that flare out nostrils when smiling so the nose doesn’t get giga wide when smiling.

That depends on the person's body - how it deals with it etc tho

No not really,

When it comes to “accutane nose” the reason some have slimmer nose on it is because oversized sebaceous glands were the major factor of their bulbous nose, for some the major factor aren’t sebaceous glands but rather cartilage.

well i think your nose does dry out first of all along with lips then it just slowly adjusts so he could be telling the truth tbf

Hydro is cope for most,

Most of the noses aren’t inflamed unless you’re experiencing acne, have allergies, have eczema etc. So the main goal of hydrocortisone which is treating inflammation is already out of the window.

Now if you argue how skin thinning aspect would be beneficial, it thins out the skin only by 6%, the skin on the nasal tip is about 1.2-2mm thick and the sidewalls closer to 1mm or less so a 6% reduction would be -0.12mm on the tip and -0.06mm for the sidewalls which is practically unnoticeable

Here is a link to the study which documents skin thinning on hydro:

Not really lips dry out first since there are 0 sebaceous glands inside of them and they moisturize by surrounding oil.

While nose has the highest density of sebaceous glands so it makes sense people report a change only after multiple months in

I think the dude was bs-ing or just had a placebo

possibly when I’m older my nose has become a bit droopy so I just push the tip of it up and it seems to work

yeah this is why ive already noticed minor changes my nasal tip was red and puffy a week ago it has calmed down now, likely might not be related but the tip has changed definetely
