What do you achieve with this technique? Well, I'll just tell you three basic things you can expect to achieve: first, to refine the jaw; second, to improve breathing; and if done at an early age, it contributes to craniofacial growth.
How is it done? It consists of, with your lips and teeth sealed, placing your tongue against the palate (without touching your teeth, of course, to prevent them from moving forward) and breathing through your nose. This technique must be practiced constantly, as it is the correct way to breathe. Some people do this naturally from a young age. The results are most noticeable in adolescence, but you'll also see some results even if you're older. While the results aren't very dramatic, it's a good technique that optimizes your health.
