the ortho is fixing me elastics for my overbite. Is it effective? Or should I ask for something different like a forsus appliance. I’m also going to email my ortho about palatal expansion. Give your thoughts here

Not sure tbh I have the same difference in mm between upper and lower teeth as before braces, it should work for some tho otherwise they wouldve stopped using elastics id assume

I've heard palatal expansion can help bring out the lower jaw tho

Never heard of anyone getting a palate expander after the braces have been installed, maybe its possible to just remove the wire and install an expander and restart

Good bro id reach out to ur ortho as soon as possible, usually the space is created with the expander first and then the teeth aligned with braces but hopefully u can get an expander asap
