Aight so I've been using this for like 3 weeks and genuinely can't go back

started using it for academics, had a 1h long chemistry lecture, watched it at 2x, dumped the notes into NotebookLM and this thing just handled everything. Made flashcards, but the actually insane part is it generates a podcast where two AI hosts justdiscuss your material like a real conversation. I was eating lunch getting a physics breakdown JFL. Actually flamed my brain how useful that was, I basically had everything on tips after the lec + flashcards + podcast

Anyway the looksmax application is where it gets stupid good

You know how the best info on here OR on .org is buried. Like the threads from 2021 with fucking 340 replies where some guy with 6 years of experience drops everything he knows about some compound, all in one massive wall of text that nobody's gonna sit and read fully

upload that shit to NotebookLM

or stack MULTIPLE sources. Throw in the specific thread you wanna research bout, then ask something specific like "what's the current consensus on dermarolling frequency when combining with minox" (just an example) and it pulls from ALL of them and gives you an actual answer with citations

stuff I personally use it for:
- stacking forum threads
- the debate threads, it summarizes the actual risk profile without the fearmongering or the cope
- peptide discussions, where the info is scattered across 6 different threads
- any dense PDF

The podcast feature for long threads is actually underrated too. Upload a 200 reply thread and listen to two AIs debate the key points while you're doing sm shit AND that's free

Free tier works fine. I've Pro and it just lets you upload more sources at once

Id say give it a try while researching bout smth, lmk if anyone wants a breakdown of how I have mine set up, I js wanted to share what's been helping me lately
Mirin the idea, first time seeing this on ANY forums
