Haven't seen this topic talked about on gg or most forums. I’m going to give you my take on what is the best split for a gymcel.

The first split I want to talk about is anterior/posterior (front back). This is the best split because it has the highest frequency of all the splits (you will be hitting your muscles 4-6 times per week), and it has the lowest volume of all the splits (only 1-2 working sets per muscle group) which allows for a lot of progressive overload with very little risk of burn out. The second reason this is the best split is that it creates a wide frame quickly by hitting your deltoids frequently. The third reason is that it allows for a great balance of both compound exercises and isolation exercises.

UPPER/LOWER

The next split I want to talk about is upper/lower. While this split is solid in terms of its ability to allow for both good strength gains and good recovery, it does not offer as much variety as anterior/posterior. This is why I would rank it as number two. This split also allows for a good balance of both upper body and lower body work, but it hits your shoulders every day which can lead to overtraining and a lack of progress.

PPL

View attachment 28575

Another split that is commonly used is push pull legs (ppl). In general, this is one of the best splits for building pure strength, but when done at the high volume levels required for optimal results, it becomes repetitive and boring, and therefore may not be ideal for many people. It is also worth noting that ppl will require a greater volume of training than some other splits, so if you have a limited amount of time to train, or prefer to keep your training sessions short, then another split may be a better option for you.

FULL BODY 3X

View attachment 28576

A Full Body split has to be one of the best training methods around. For a beginner or someone with limited time to train, a 3 day/week schedule will allow you to hit every major muscle group at least 3 times each week, with 10-15 sets per muscle group and an RPE of 8-9. With this frequency, you'll get the most out of your training in the shortest amount of time.

And lastly Bro split its ass. You're a retard if you do this.

In conclusion, while there are many different ways to split up your workout routine, and some are certainly more effective than others, I believe that the best way to go is the anterior/posterior split. This is because it offers a high frequency of training, and a low volume of training, making it an ideal choice for maximizing strength gains, while minimizing the risk of burnout.
