Discussion How do you quit porn? or other super addictive things (2 Viewers)

ive been addicted since I was 12 yo and its getting frustrating, I do not want to jerk off to pixels or to imaginary things. ive tried everything, ive changed my environment, installed blockers, occupied my mind even at one point I installed openDNS family protection to my router to fully block it but to no avail my horny ahh just reopened the settings and disabled the feature. what is a good niche method you guys suggest to quit? the only possible solution I see is to get married to a girl that has feelings for me and I have feelings for her so I can sleep w her and that would be only possible after I finish uni.

Imo ive never had it but quitting Nic or alcohol addiction would be easier since u just dont buy the shit but this shit is every where on things you use daily (phone and laptops). Ppl recommended me to get off my laptop but I cant cuz all my school work is there but I dont have an addiction to my phone so im good there I just throw it away.

I had this too. Generally no shit advice the best way is to basically delete all form of social media for ATLEAST 2 weeks. I did this for 1.5 months after that I quit now im around a year free. Pm if you want advice also mark as solution

if after masturbating you feel good and your diet is good(so u are not loosing nutrients), there is no problem with it. But if u feel like shit after doing it, stop doing it.

that is a good strategy but as I mentioned in the post im on my laptop 24/7 cuz of school cuz all my school work si there and as u know insta and YouTube web versions both exist so its impossible to avoid them for me. im not addicted to my phone my screen time is like 10-20 minutes, my laptop is the main culprit. other than social media my imagination also causes triggers Irandomly get thoughts without watching anything
