my jaw makes a crunching sound when i fully open my mouth and close it and i also can feel it in my teeths, when i went to my dentist a few month back to get a filling, i filled out a form and told him about my jaw. i currently cant find a new dentist or visit my old one and the research ive done were inconclusive at best. what do u guys think is most likely my problem?

Solution
a unilateral/bilateral crunching/grating sound (crepitus) on full opening and closing is prolly osteoarthritis of the temporomandibular joint specifically with disc perforation/severe disc displacement w/o reduction w bony changes

the crunch could be the condyle rubbing against a perforated retrodiscal tissue

imo it all depends on the face and what harmonizes the best

I think it could be TMJ but I'm not too well informed on it so don't take it as a sojuultion idk how its fixed or anything I just know its jaw pain and clicking you can look into it but once again I'm not too informed on it.
