They used to be a lovely shade of medium blue when I was a kid. I could have exotic colouring, beautiful blue eyes which would contrast well with my dark brown hair

But now they're dark hazel greenish appears dark brown in most lighting due to my brow shadow. Brutal. Why does this process exist

It's actually melanin getting added to yo iris over years btw, adaptation or something, I had a10 as I kid now I have a30 lol

Lol that's hella common actually, u start with low melanin (a50 in your case) and when iris gets more melanin over the years the dark green or hazel starts to show cuz green shows up when it's moderate melanin, u can read about it cuz it's actually common as I said , rep me dawg
