I'm scheduled to go to my orthodontist again in a couple of months. I'm curious because in the past I had teeth removed from my upper palate, including a set of molars and a set of premolars. This was done to make space for new teeth and prevent overcrowding, and at the time I didn't think to ask about a palate expander. Now they might be considering removing more teeth at my next appointment. Is it still worth asking for a palate expander?
