Many of you on here virtue-signal this idea that soy products are estrogenic, when this just isn't the case whatsoever. Infact, there's no established evidence that it has any determential effect towards the male hormonal balance. The phytoestrogens in soy are extremely weak, and regular dietary consumption of soy has been shown to have no meaningful effect on testosterone & other fertility markers. Only in certain animal studys with extremely high isoflavone exposure was testosterone influenced. However these are disproportionate to average human intake, and don't carry any repercussions for regular soy consumption.

Now, you'll probably be quick to shrug this off as some cucked interpretation of your conspiratorial slop, whatever. Retards will be retards. But i will explain the most common argument against soy (and more specifically, soylent): "soylent drinkers look low-T & weak". You'd probably expect me to deny this, but inactuality, they are. Most soylent drinkers do fit the reddit-mod phenotype of some pathetic cuck. But reason why isn't because of their soy consumption; rather it's because of selection bias.

To put it simply: who's soylents customer base? Basement-dwelling fag's who're deprived of practically all essential nutrients/vitamins for sufficient testosterone production & health indicators within the aesthetic ideal. It's a meal replacement drink targeted toward the most serious of gamers — those who end up skipping meals due to their extensive sessions. So no; it's not soylent that causes low-testosterone, it's just that people with low-testosterone are the target demographic.

Furthermore, soylent is actually a good meal replacement drink. It's ideal for those who're using GLP-1's or other weight-loss medications to ensure they maintain a healthy nourishment. And it's packed full of essential nutrients that'll better your overall health

I'm not too well endowed with the science part of things but I agree on the fact that the targeted consumers don't help this argument when trying to make a claim like this.

They are already malnourished and the soylent on top of it may give people the idea that the soylent caused them to be like that.

Theyre just forming a correlation that isn't there because they're ignoring all the other factors that play into that reddit mods appearance and just blaming the drink

Again, I'm not too well endowed in the science part of things relating to this topic. But most of the claims are anecdotal from what I remember. Idk haven't looked into this subject like at all

The only rsn soylent is popular with reddit mods is because they have no underatanding on good diet or the desire to cook due to laziness. This is why when a drink with a bunch of crazy flavours and all essential nutrients comes along they are willing to drink it. One one hand it is cost effective however it just promotes laziness and the activity to moderate discord servers and molest underage e-kittens. I feel like this behaviour promotes low test rather than the drink itself.

When we look at someone who consumes diet through meat instead they are more likely associated with people who go gym and actually go outside while supplying their body with delicous nutritous natural food. These people also probably care more abt what they put into their mouth rather than someone who would just drink their nutrients and meals. Also soylent bottles probably have a long list of ingredients the chinese people who made it would struggle to pronounce.

Then again the drink itself isnt a bad concept but the habits and the demographic linked to it is what ultinately shit faced the companys rep and anyone who drinks soylent is a cuck but yh nice standpoint

Pretty sure I read something saying the same thing a while ago. The phytoestrogens are like 1000 times weaker than estradiol and bind differently. Phytoestrogens only bind to and activate beta ERss receptors which are good apparently. I still won't consume soy products because other stuff tastes better.

It's fairly likely  one of you aren't joking, so if that's you; you're retarded. There's only one argument against soy, and i just debunked it. Trust me if the government, or corporations, or whatever elitist conspiratorial slop you believe in, wanted to feminise men, they wouldn't lie about & manipulate results on soy. There's far more efficient ways to ensure the male population remain "docile" or whatever

anyways jokes aside i never understood how the claim that soy has positive health effects mediated through what i assume to be the estrogen receptor exists alongside the fact that it wont suppress gonadotropin release

ive heard plenty of sources say soy has beneficial effects which are pretty reminiscent of the effects of estrogen ie bonehealth and wtv

Yeah there's been a couple studys, all of which are small-scale animal models that dose the phyto's ludicrously high
there's some studies on blood work on people before and after drinking soy for large time periods or peoples blood work when they have drunk large amounts of soy for years then their blood once they stop
even if there's only small studies there's still reason to believe its harmful, and why would you drink soy milk when standard cows milk or even 2% milk is right there
