The fight against Aging [Clinical Level]

What causes an aged look?

3 things. Midface, Upper face, Lower face. The main factors of the face which cause age indicators are the eyelids as a whole, the prejowl depression across the jawline, circular decompressions around the mouth area including the nasolabials, nasolabial groove as well as the canine fossa, the marionette line, anterior chin depression, subzygomatic recess which links directly to jowl depression in the jawline, pretty much everything on the middle to lower end of the face including forehead wrinkles, not to mention bone loss, essentially the face needs to have a lifted look, hence why a facelift exists, see aging as your face melting in a way, this is almost 100% due to loss of volume, and any remaining volume being transported to the lower third of the face.Aging is a part of life which nobody can avoid, as mentioned on previous occasions I have put a borderline insane amount of time into aesthetics, and one truth I will reveal is no matter what products or procedures you utilise; YOU. WILL. AGE.

So where do we go from here? This in no way means we should give up, it is incredibly important that you look good for the rest of your life, even up to elderly age you need to mog at all times. So if the problem is volume loss, we need to fill it back up, as well as remove excess depressions.

Fig. 1.
This schematic shows the 3 (dashed) circles for facial
framing that would ideally be filled: the perimeter around the
face that includes the temple, subzygomatic arch, buccal area,
and prejowl sulcus; around the mouth that includes the canine
fossa, nasolabial groove, marionette, prejowl sulcus, and anterior chin; and the eyes, which can be more explicitly thought of
as 2 asymmetric triangles. The upper triangle has a short limb
medially and the lower triangle has a short limb laterally.

By filling the medial upper triangle, in particular, the slanted eyelid is converted to a horizontal shape that is much more youthful in appearance.

Left, A woman in her twenties demonstrates the ideal volume and lack of midface shadows in conveying a youthful appearance.

Right, A woman in her sixties demonstrates the aging effect
of volume loss, as the midface is dominated by segmented shadows.

Center, Following deep plane face-lift
and autologous fat transfer (1 year postoperative) to the midface, she still had incomplete jawline rejuvenation due to mandibular
Insufficiency (lack of bones).

Right, Autologous fat transfer (1 year post fat transfer, 2 years post primary surgery) to the prejowl sulcus and lateral
mandible aided in jawline contouring by further masking the residual jowl.

As of recent, it does seem like Cameron Alborzian has woken up to the truth of aging, and has taken some sort of action (minor intervention) to reduce the aesthetic downsides of it. Including his transformation in here is what I believe to be a powerful backing to this thread, although people like to cope adding that he got involved in an accident which is a part of his aged look but that is unverifiable information.

Not formatted for mobile = DNR. Probably decent, though.

Should be a feature to determine thread formatting for both mobile & PC to ensure readability
