If u have collagen your skin is shiny, healthy, elastic, youthful
And if u have low collagen u look old, wrinkly, you look like youre melting.
but it isnt only about the face it also speeds up recovery and healing, also essential for bone health, tendons, scar healing and bulding muscle.

Your body makes collagen mainly from amino acids plus vitamin

Protein intake
Eggs
Fish
Meat
Dairy
Soy
Legumes
Whey protein

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation.

Citrus
Kiwi
Bell peppers
Berries

Minerals

Copper
Zinc
Iron

Gelatin and collagen

Bone broth
Skin-on chicken
Pork skin
Now the peptides:

Matrixyl-
stimulate fibroblasts
increase collagen production
reduce wrinkles
Matrixyl 3000-
collagen stimulation
anti aging signaling

GHK-Cu-
wound healing
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
anti inflammatory effects
PROBABLY COPE BUT CAN HELP!

Argireline-
Mostly affects muscle signaling rather than directly increasing collagen.
Evidence is modest.

BPC-157-
tendon healing
ligament healing
gut repair
angiogenesis
risks? :
unknown long-term effects
questionable sourcing
contamination risk

TB-500-
tissue repair
wound healing
recovery
cell migration
angiogenesis
connective tissue remodeling

CJC-1295-
Indirectly may increase collagen synthesis often stacked with Ipamorelin

Epitalon-
anti-aging
telomerase activation
longevity

ARA-290-
Experimental tissue repair peptide and still highly untrustable.

Sleep helps collagen mainly because a large amount of tissue repair and regeneration is coordinated during deep sleep.
growth hormone pulses increase
tissue repair activity rises
protein synthesis increases
1779523241290.png

GH indirectly supports:

fibroblast activity
collagen synthesis
wound repair

Fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen

During sleep your body increases:
protein synthesis
tissue remodeling

Good sleep:

supports normal collagen maintenance
slows visible aging somewhat
improves recovery

But it does NOT:

permanently stop aging
massively increase collagen beyond biological limits

how people who dont sleep enough often look:

puffier
more wrinkled
more inflamed

The major collagen-destroying processes are:

UV damage
inflammation
oxidative stress
smoking! yall niggas think u tuff for smoking you just a bloatcel boyo
glycation
chronic cortisol elevation

Those are one of the main causes of:
wrinkles
sagging
photoaging

Best interventions

daily SPF 30–50
avoid chronic tanning

Smoking massively accelerates collagen destruction, increases oxidative stress
Things that worsen chronic inflammation? :

obesity
excessive alcohol
chronic stress
ultra processed diets
Things that help? :

exercise
sleep
omega-3 intake

Glycation damages collagen by making fibers:
weaker
less elastic

This creates:

wrinkles
vascular aging
tissue stiffness

Heavy alcohol:

increases oxidative stress
worsens inflammation
dehydrates skin

Now the retinoids!

Retinoids are one of the most evidence backed classes of compounds for improving skin texture, reducing acne, and preserving and increasing skin collagen
They are vitamin A derivatives that affect gene expression in skin cells
For facial collagen and anti aging, retinoids are among the few topical treatments with strong human evidence

Retinoids can:

increase collagen production
reduce collagen breakdown
improve pigmentation
reduce acne
smooth fine wrinkles
thicken parts of the skin over time

Main types of retinoids:

1. Retinyl esters

retinyl palmitate
Pros:

less irritating

Cons:

weaker effects
less evidence

2. Retinol

Most common retinoid.
Pros:

effective
accessible

Cons:

slower results than prescription retinoids

Good beginner option id say

3. retinaldehyde

stronger than retinol
less irritating than tretinoin

4. Adapalene

Differin

Pros:

stable
often less irritating
good for acne

5. Tretinoin

Most studied retinoid.
Prescription in many countries.

collagen stimulation

6. Tazarotene

Used for:
acne
psoriasis
photoaging

more irritating.

Can produce strong results but with higher irritation risk.

Micro needling (prolly my fav method for begginers)

Microneedling is a procedure that creates many tiny controlled punctures in the skin to trigger a wound-healing response.
The goal is to stimulate:
1779525398885.png

collagen production
elastin remodeling
skin turnover

It’s one of the more evidenc supported non surgical collagen stimulation methods for the face.

Basic idea

Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin.

body responds by activating:

fibroblasts
growth factors
collagen remodeling pathways

can improve:

acne scars
fine wrinkles
texture
stretch marks

How it affects collagen
The injury response can stimulate:

collagen I
collagen III

The skin essentially tries to repair itself and may rebuild tissue in a smoother

What microneedling is best for

acne scars
skin texture
mild wrinkles

enlarged pores
stretch marks
pigmentation support

Types of microneedling

1. Dermaroller

Rolling cylinder with needles.
less precise
more skin dragging

2. Dermapen

Usually preferred professionally because:

more controlled
adjustable depth
less tearing

3. RF

Can produce stronger remodeling.
more expensive
more aggressive
higher risk

why does needle depth matters? :

0.25 mm superficial product penetration
0.5 mm mild collagen stimulation
1.0–1.5 mm acne scars/ wrinkles
deeper higher risk

Deeper is NOT automatically better niggers
COULD GIVE YOU INFECTION IF NOT DONE PROPERLY!!

People often-
needle too deep
do it too often
use cheap contaminated devices

This can damage skin instead of improving it!

Laser treatments:AYAYAHYPER:

Laser treatments are among the strongest non surgical methods for stimulating skin remodeling and collagen production they work by creating controlled thermal injury in the skin, which triggers wound healing and collagen remodeling.
Compared to creams or supplements, lasers can produce much more noticeable changes but also carry much higher risks and costs.

Your body responds with:

inflammation
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
skin turnover

The repaired skin can become:

smoother
tighter
more even textured

what are they used for? :

Most commonly:
wrinkles
acne scars
sun damage
pigmentation
skin texture
redness
skin tightening

categories of lasers:

Ablative lasers

Examples:

CO2 laser
Erbium:YAG

Effects:
strongest resurfacing
major collagen remodeling

But also- highest downtime and highest risk

Potential results

improve:

deep wrinkles
severe sun damage
acne scars
texture

Risks u may ask? :

infection
scarring
pigmentation problems
prolonged redness
texture damage
fat loss in some cases

Recovery can take weeks to monts!!!!!!!!

Fractional lasers

Examples:
fractional CO2
Fraxel-type lasers

Instead of removing all skin evenly they create microscopic columns of injury surrounded by healthy skin.

This allows:
faster healing
less downtime
still significant remodeling

Non-ablative lasers

Less aggressive
They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

pigmentation
redness
sun damage

Strongest uses

acne scars
severe sun damage
texture issues
But they do NOT:

stop aging permanently
fully replace surgery
create flawless skin forever

Hormones?

Hormones play a major role in collagen because they regulate how actively your skin and connective tissue build, maintain, or break down structural proteins.

Estrogen

Estrogen is one of the strongest natural hormones.

What it does:

increases collagen production in skin
improves skin thickness and hydration
reduces collagen degrading enzymes
improves wound healing

What happens when it drops:

hinner skin
more wrinkles
reduced elasticity

Testosterone

Positive effects:

supports muscle mass
may increase skin thickness slightly
supports overall anabolic state

Negative or neutral effects:

not a strong direct collagen stimulator
high levels don’t necessarily improve skin quality!
conversion to DHT can affect oil production (acne risk)

Growth hormone GH and IGF-1

These are some of the most important hormones for tissue repair

Effects:

increases protein synthesis
stimulates fibroblasts
supports collagen production
improves wound healing

Where it matters most:

skin repair
tendon healing
recovery from injury

Downsides when excessive:

insulin resistance
fluid retention

Cortisol the collagen destroyer hormone

Cortisol is the biggest hormonal factor in collagen breakdown as we already mentioned

Chronic high cortisol causes:

increased MMPs
reduced fibroblast activity
slower wound healing

Common causes:

chronic stress
poor sleep
overtraining

Thyroid hormones T3 and T4

Thyroid function affects skin metabolism.

bad thyroid :

dry skin
slower repair
reduced collagen turnover

good thyroid

can accelerate tissue breakdown
thinning skin in severe cases

Insulin

Positive:

supports nutrient uptake
can support tissue building

Negative

promotes glycation
glycation damages collagen
associated with accelerated skin aging

Collagen stimulators

Collagen stimulators are anything that pushes your body to build new collagen rather than just supplying collagen or preventing its breakdown

They fall into three big categories:

: topical/medical skincare stimulators
: procedures that trigger wound-healing
: internal biological stimulators

Topical collagen stimulators

Retinoids-

we already talked abt them

Procedure based collagen stimulators

Microneedling-

we alr talked abt them NIGGA

Internal collagen stimulators
Peptides-
NIGGA read about them folk we alr talked abt them too

other methods with little to no evidence

Collagen supplements (powders)

Claim: Oral collagen “rebuilds” skin, hair, joints
Evidence: Moderate but limited.

Some small randomized trials show modest improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles after 8 to12 weeks.
Effects are small and inconsistent
Studies often funded by supplement companies
Not clearly better than just adequate protein intake
Probably not useless, but not transformative.

Hyaluronic acid supplements

Claim: Improves skin moisture supports collagen.

Evidence: weak

Some small studies show slight improvements in hydration or elasticity.
Mechanism unclear, bioavailability debated
Possibly mild skin hydration benefit

Red light therapy

Claim: Stimulates fibroblasts

Evidence: mixed but kinda trustable

Some clinical studies show improved wrinkles and skin texture.
Study quality varies
At-home devices often weaker than clinical ones

Topical collagen creams

Claim: Creams “rebuild collagen”

Evidence: stupid and weak

Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate skin meaningfully
Mostly acts as a classic moisturizer not a collagen hack:banderas:
Hydration effect only, not true collagen building.

Exercise

Claim: Exercise increases connective tissue quality.

Evidence: for MUSCLES yea nigga but face??

Mechanical loading stimulates collagen remodeling in tendons/ligaments.
Systemic skin effects are less clear but possible via circulation and signaling.

I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT FACIAL EXERCISES?! NIGGER

High risk methods you should only try if at ur lowest nigga

the risky stuff people talk about usually isn’t directly collagen-boosting so much as aggressively triggering skin remodeling or stress responses

---high dose retinoids---
1779532022157.png

---chemical peeling---
---laser resurfacing---
---too much microneedling too often with high needle lenghts---
---CRAZY uv exposure---
---steroid misuse---
---unregulated peptides---

So the best routine?

Preventing breakdown (UV, smoking, glycation)
Providing building blocks (protein + vitamin C)
Mild stimulation of remodeling (retinoids, controlled mechanical stress, dermastamping)

Everything else is secondary.
so sun protection, protein intake, vitamin A/C/all the others needed for better skin, retinoids, microneedling, dietmax, (optional peptides), sleepmax

WORST COPE METHODS PEOPLE TRY

collagen creams
collagen timing (claim: Taking collagen at specific times maximizes skin uptake)
High-dose vitamin C mega-stacking
Hyaluronic acid pills
Over exfoliation
juice cleanses for skin collagen

omega-3 intake

Glycation damages collagen by making fibers:
weaker
less elastic

This creates:

wrinkles
vascular aging
tissue stiffness

Heavy alcohol:

increases oxidative stress
worsens inflammation
dehydrates skin

Now the retinoids!

Retinoids are one of the most evidence backed classes of compounds for improving skin texture, reducing acne, and preserving and increasing skin collagen
They are vitamin A derivatives that affect gene expression in skin cells
For facial collagen and anti aging, retinoids are among the few topical treatments with strong human evidence

Retinoids can:

increase collagen production
reduce collagen breakdown
improve pigmentation
reduce acne
smooth fine wrinkles
thicken parts of the skin over time

Main types of retinoids:

1. Retinyl esters

retinyl palmitate
Pros:

less irritating

Cons:

weaker effects
less evidence

2. Retinol

Most common retinoid.
Pros:

effective
accessible

Cons:

slower results than prescription retinoids

Good beginner option id say

3. retinaldehyde

stronger than retinol
less irritating than tretinoin

4. Adapalene

Differin

Pros:

stable
often less irritating
good for acne

5. Tretinoin

Most studied retinoid.
Prescription in many countries.

collagen stimulation

6. Tazarotene

Used for:
acne
psoriasis
photoaging

more irritating.

Can produce strong results but with higher irritation risk.

Micro needling (prolly my fav method for begginers)

Microneedling is a procedure that creates many tiny controlled punctures in the skin to trigger a wound-healing response.
The goal is to stimulate:
View attachment 50170
collagen production
elastin remodeling
skin turnover

It’s one of the more evidenc supported non surgical collagen stimulation methods for the face.

Basic idea

Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin.

body responds by activating:

fibroblasts
growth factors
collagen remodeling pathways

can improve:

acne scars
fine wrinkles
texture
stretch marks

How it affects collagen
The injury response can stimulate:

collagen I
collagen III

The skin essentially tries to repair itself and may rebuild tissue in a smoother

What microneedling is best for

acne scars
skin texture
mild wrinkles

enlarged pores
stretch marks
pigmentation support

Types of microneedling

1. Dermaroller

Rolling cylinder with needles.
less precise
more skin dragging

2. Dermapen

Usually preferred professionally because:

more controlled
adjustable depth
less tearing

3. RF

Can produce stronger remodeling.
more expensive
more aggressive
higher risk

why does needle depth matters? :

0.25 mm superficial product penetration
0.5 mm mild collagen stimulation
1.0–1.5 mm acne scars/ wrinkles
deeper higher risk

Deeper is NOT automatically better niggers
COULD GIVE YOU INFECTION IF NOT DONE PROPERLY!!

People often-
needle too deep
do it too often
use cheap contaminated devices

This can damage skin instead of improving it!

Laser treatments:AYAYAHYPER:

Laser treatments are among the strongest non surgical methods for stimulating skin remodeling and collagen production they work by creating controlled thermal injury in the skin, which triggers wound healing and collagen remodeling.
Compared to creams or supplements, lasers can produce much more noticeable changes but also carry much higher risks and costs.

Your body responds with:

inflammation
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
skin turnover

The repaired skin can become:

smoother
tighter
more even textured

what are they used for? :

Most commonly:
wrinkles
acne scars
sun damage
pigmentation
skin texture
redness
skin tightening

categories of lasers:

Ablative lasers

Examples:

CO2 laser
Erbium:YAG

Effects:
strongest resurfacing
major collagen remodeling

But also- highest downtime and highest risk

Potential results

improve:

deep wrinkles
severe sun damage
acne scars
texture

Risks u may ask? :

infection
scarring
pigmentation problems
prolonged redness
texture damage
fat loss in some cases

Recovery can take weeks to monts!!!!!!!!

Fractional lasers

Examples:
fractional CO2
Fraxel-type lasers

Instead of removing all skin evenly they create microscopic columns of injury surrounded by healthy skin.

This allows:
faster healing
less downtime
still significant remodeling

Non-ablative lasers

Less aggressive
They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

pigmentation
redness
sun damage

Strongest uses

acne scars
severe sun damage
texture issues
But they do NOT:

stop aging permanently
fully replace surgery
create flawless skin forever

Hormones?

Hormones play a major role in collagen because they regulate how actively your skin and connective tissue build, maintain, or break down structural proteins.

Estrogen

Estrogen is one of the strongest natural hormones.

What it does:

increases collagen production in skin
improves skin thickness and hydration
reduces collagen degrading enzymes
improves wound healing

What happens when it drops:

hinner skin
more wrinkles
reduced elasticity

Testosterone

Positive effects:

supports muscle mass
may increase skin thickness slightly
supports overall anabolic state

Negative or neutral effects:

not a strong direct collagen stimulator
high levels don’t necessarily improve skin quality!
conversion to DHT can affect oil production (acne risk)

Growth hormone GH and IGF-1

These are some of the most important hormones for tissue repair

Effects:

increases protein synthesis
stimulates fibroblasts
supports collagen production
improves wound healing

Where it matters most:

skin repair
tendon healing
recovery from injury

Downsides when excessive:

insulin resistance
fluid retention

Cortisol the collagen destroyer hormone

Cortisol is the biggest hormonal factor in collagen breakdown as we already mentioned

Chronic high cortisol causes:

increased MMPs
reduced fibroblast activity
slower wound healing

Common causes:

chronic stress
poor sleep
overtraining

Thyroid hormones T3 and T4

Thyroid function affects skin metabolism.

bad thyroid :

dry skin
slower repair
reduced collagen turnover

good thyroid

can accelerate tissue breakdown
thinning skin in severe cases

Insulin

Positive:

supports nutrient uptake
can support tissue building

Negative

promotes glycation
glycation damages collagen
associated with accelerated skin aging

Collagen stimulators

Collagen stimulators are anything that pushes your body to build new collagen rather than just supplying collagen or preventing its breakdown

They fall into three big categories:

: topical/medical skincare stimulators
: procedures that trigger wound-healing
: internal biological stimulators

Topical collagen stimulators

Retinoids-

we already talked abt them

Procedure based collagen stimulators

Microneedling-

we alr talked abt them NIGGA

Internal collagen stimulators
Peptides-
NIGGA read about them folk we alr talked abt them too

other methods with little to no evidence

Collagen supplements (powders)

Claim: Oral collagen “rebuilds” skin, hair, joints
Evidence: Moderate but limited.

Some small randomized trials show modest improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles after 8 to12 weeks.
Effects are small and inconsistent
Studies often funded by supplement companies
Not clearly better than just adequate protein intake
Probably not useless, but not transformative.

Hyaluronic acid supplements

Claim: Improves skin moisture supports collagen.

Evidence: weak

Some small studies show slight improvements in hydration or elasticity.
Mechanism unclear, bioavailability debated
Possibly mild skin hydration benefit

Red light therapy

Claim: Stimulates fibroblasts

Evidence: mixed but kinda trustable

Some clinical studies show improved wrinkles and skin texture.
Study quality varies
At-home devices often weaker than clinical ones

Topical collagen creams

Claim: Creams “rebuild collagen”

Evidence: stupid and weak

Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate skin meaningfully
Mostly acts as a classic moisturizer not a collagen hack:banderas:
Hydration effect only, not true collagen building.

Exercise

Claim: Exercise increases connective tissue quality.

Evidence: for MUSCLES yea nigga but face??

Mechanical loading stimulates collagen remodeling in tendons/ligaments.
Systemic skin effects are less clear but possible via circulation and signaling.

I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT FACIAL EXERCISES?! NIGGER

High risk methods you should only try if at ur lowest nigga

the risky stuff people talk about usually isn’t directly collagen-boosting so much as aggressively triggering skin remodeling or stress responses

---high dose retinoids---View attachment 50189
---chemical peeling---
---laser resurfacing---
---too much microneedling too often with high needle lenghts---
---CRAZY uv exposure---
---steroid misuse---
---unregulated peptides---

So the best routine?

Preventing breakdown (UV, smoking, glycation)
Providing building blocks (protein + vitamin C)
Mild stimulation of remodeling (retinoids, controlled mechanical stress, dermastamping)

Everything else is secondary.
so sun protection, protein intake, vitamin A/C/all the others needed for better skin, retinoids, microneedling, dietmax, (optional peptides), sleepmax

WORST COPE METHODS PEOPLE TRY

collagen creams
collagen timing (claim: Taking collagen at specific times maximizes skin uptake)
High-dose vitamin C mega-stacking
Hyaluronic acid pills
Over exfoliation
juice cleanses for skin collagen

They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

pigmentation
redness
sun damage

Strongest uses

acne scars
severe sun damage
texture issues
But they do NOT:

stop aging permanently
fully replace surgery
create flawless skin forever

Hormones?

Hormones play a major role in collagen because they regulate how actively your skin and connective tissue build, maintain, or break down structural proteins.

Estrogen

Estrogen is one of the strongest natural hormones.

What it does:

increases collagen production in skin
improves skin thickness and hydration
reduces collagen degrading enzymes
improves wound healing

What happens when it drops:

hinner skin
more wrinkles
reduced elasticity

Testosterone

Positive effects:

supports muscle mass
may increase skin thickness slightly
supports overall anabolic state

Negative or neutral effects:

not a strong direct collagen stimulator
high levels don’t necessarily improve skin quality!
conversion to DHT can affect oil production (acne risk)

Growth hormone GH and IGF-1

These are some of the most important hormones for tissue repair

Effects:

increases protein synthesis
stimulates fibroblasts
supports collagen production
improves wound healing

Where it matters most:

skin repair
tendon healing
recovery from injury

Downsides when excessive:

insulin resistance
fluid retention

Cortisol the collagen destroyer hormone

Cortisol is the biggest hormonal factor in collagen breakdown as we already mentioned

Chronic high cortisol causes:

increased MMPs
reduced fibroblast activity
slower wound healing

Common causes:

chronic stress
poor sleep
overtraining

Thyroid hormones T3 and T4

Thyroid function affects skin metabolism.

bad thyroid :

dry skin
slower repair
reduced collagen turnover

good thyroid

can accelerate tissue breakdown
thinning skin in severe cases

Insulin

Positive:

supports nutrient uptake
can support tissue building

Negative

promotes glycation
glycation damages collagen
associated with accelerated skin aging

Collagen stimulators

Collagen stimulators are anything that pushes your body to build new collagen rather than just supplying collagen or preventing its breakdown

They fall into three big categories:

: topical/medical skincare stimulators
: procedures that trigger wound-healing
: internal biological stimulators

Topical collagen stimulators

Retinoids-

we already talked abt them

Procedure based collagen stimulators

Microneedling-

we alr talked abt them NIGGA

Internal collagen stimulators
Peptides-
NIGGA read about them folk we alr talked abt them too

other methods with little to no evidence

Collagen supplements (powders)

Claim: Oral collagen “rebuilds” skin, hair, joints
Evidence: Moderate but limited.

Some small randomized trials show modest improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles after 8 to12 weeks.
Effects are small and inconsistent
Studies often funded by supplement companies
Not clearly better than just adequate protein intake
Probably not useless, but not transformative.

Hyaluronic acid supplements

Claim: Improves skin moisture supports collagen.

Evidence: weak

Some small studies show slight improvements in hydration or elasticity.
Mechanism unclear, bioavailability debated
Possibly mild skin hydration benefit

Red light therapy

Claim: Stimulates fibroblasts

Evidence: mixed but kinda trustable

Some clinical studies show improved wrinkles and skin texture.
Study quality varies
At-home devices often weaker than clinical ones

Topical collagen creams

Claim: Creams “rebuild collagen”

Evidence: stupid and weak

Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate skin meaningfully
Mostly acts as a classic moisturizer not a collagen hack:banderas:
Hydration effect only, not true collagen building.

Exercise

Claim: Exercise increases connective tissue quality.

Evidence: for MUSCLES yea nigga but face??

Mechanical loading stimulates collagen remodeling in tendons/ligaments.
Systemic skin effects are less clear but possible via circulation and signaling.

I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT FACIAL EXERCISES?! NIGGER

High risk methods you should only try if at ur lowest nigga

the risky stuff people talk about usually isn’t directly collagen-boosting so much as aggressively triggering skin remodeling or stress responses

---high dose retinoids---View attachment 50189
---chemical peeling---
---laser resurfacing---
---too much microneedling too often with high needle lenghts---
---CRAZY uv exposure---
---steroid misuse---
---unregulated peptides---

So the best routine?

Preventing breakdown (UV, smoking, glycation)
Providing building blocks (protein + vitamin C)
Mild stimulation of remodeling (retinoids, controlled mechanical stress, dermastamping)

Everything else is secondary.
so sun protection, protein intake, vitamin A/C/all the others needed for better skin, retinoids, microneedling, dietmax, (optional peptides), sleepmax

WORST COPE METHODS PEOPLE TRY

collagen creams
collagen timing (claim: Taking collagen at specific times maximizes skin uptake)
High-dose vitamin C mega-stacking
Hyaluronic acid pills
Over exfoliation
juice cleanses for skin collagen

So why to even collagenmaxx?

If u have collagen your skin is shiny, healthy, elastic, youthful
And if u have low collagen u look old, wrinkly, you look like youre melting.
but it isnt only about the face it also speeds up recovery and healing, also essential for bone health, tendons, scar healing and bulding muscle.

Your body makes collagen mainly from amino acids plus vitamin

Protein intake
Eggs
Fish
Meat
Dairy
Soy
Legumes
Whey protein

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation.

Citrus
Kiwi
Bell peppers
Berries

Minerals

Copper
Zinc
Iron

Gelatin and collagen

Bone broth
Skin-on chicken
Pork skin
Now the peptides:

Matrixyl-
stimulate fibroblasts
increase collagen production
reduce wrinkles
Matrixyl 3000-
collagen stimulation
anti aging signaling

GHK-Cu-
wound healing
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
anti inflammatory effects
PROBABLY COPE BUT CAN HELP!

Argireline-
Mostly affects muscle signaling rather than directly increasing collagen.
Evidence is modest.

BPC-157-
tendon healing
ligament healing
gut repair
angiogenesis
risks? :
unknown long-term effects
questionable sourcing
contamination risk

TB-500-
tissue repair
wound healing
recovery
cell migration
angiogenesis
connective tissue remodeling

CJC-1295-
Indirectly may increase collagen synthesis often stacked with Ipamorelin

Epitalon-
anti-aging
telomerase activation
longevity

ARA-290-
Experimental tissue repair peptide and still highly untrustable.

Sleep helps collagen mainly because a large amount of tissue repair and regeneration is coordinated during deep sleep.
growth hormone pulses increase
tissue repair activity rises
protein synthesis increasesView attachment 50164

GH indirectly supports:

fibroblast activity
collagen synthesis
wound repair

Fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen

During sleep your body increases:
protein synthesis
tissue remodeling

Good sleep:

supports normal collagen maintenance
slows visible aging somewhat
improves recovery

But it does NOT:

permanently stop aging
massively increase collagen beyond biological limits

how people who dont sleep enough often look:

puffier
more wrinkled
more inflamed

The major collagen-destroying processes are:

UV damage
inflammation
oxidative stress
smoking! yall niggas think u tuff for smoking you just a bloatcel boyo
glycation
chronic cortisol elevation

Those are one of the main causes of:
wrinkles
sagging
photoaging

Best interventions

daily SPF 30–50
avoid chronic tanning

Smoking massively accelerates collagen destruction, increases oxidative stress
Things that worsen chronic inflammation? :

obesity
excessive alcohol
chronic stress
ultra processed diets
Things that help? :

exercise
sleep
omega-3 intake

Glycation damages collagen by making fibers:
weaker
less elastic

This creates:

wrinkles
vascular aging
tissue stiffness

Heavy alcohol:

increases oxidative stress
worsens inflammation
dehydrates skin

Now the retinoids!

Retinoids are one of the most evidence backed classes of compounds for improving skin texture, reducing acne, and preserving and increasing skin collagen
They are vitamin A derivatives that affect gene expression in skin cells
For facial collagen and anti aging, retinoids are among the few topical treatments with strong human evidence

Retinoids can:

increase collagen production
reduce collagen breakdown
improve pigmentation
reduce acne
smooth fine wrinkles
thicken parts of the skin over time

Main types of retinoids:

1. Retinyl esters

retinyl palmitate
Pros:

less irritating

Cons:

weaker effects
less evidence

2. Retinol

Most common retinoid.
Pros:

effective
accessible

Cons:

slower results than prescription retinoids

Good beginner option id say

3. retinaldehyde

stronger than retinol
less irritating than tretinoin

4. Adapalene

Differin

Pros:

stable
often less irritating
good for acne

5. Tretinoin

Most studied retinoid.
Prescription in many countries.

collagen stimulation

6. Tazarotene

Used for:
acne
psoriasis
photoaging

more irritating.

Can produce strong results but with higher irritation risk.

Micro needling (prolly my fav method for begginers)

Microneedling is a procedure that creates many tiny controlled punctures in the skin to trigger a wound-healing response.
The goal is to stimulate:
View attachment 50170
collagen production
elastin remodeling
skin turnover

It’s one of the more evidenc supported non surgical collagen stimulation methods for the face.

Basic idea

Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin.

body responds by activating:

fibroblasts
growth factors
collagen remodeling pathways

can improve:

acne scars
fine wrinkles
texture
stretch marks

How it affects collagen
The injury response can stimulate:

collagen I
collagen III

The skin essentially tries to repair itself and may rebuild tissue in a smoother

What microneedling is best for

acne scars
skin texture
mild wrinkles

enlarged pores
stretch marks
pigmentation support

Types of microneedling

1. Dermaroller

Rolling cylinder with needles.
less precise
more skin dragging

2. Dermapen

Usually preferred professionally because:

more controlled
adjustable depth
less tearing

3. RF

Can produce stronger remodeling.
more expensive
more aggressive
higher risk

why does needle depth matters? :

0.25 mm superficial product penetration
0.5 mm mild collagen stimulation
1.0–1.5 mm acne scars/ wrinkles
deeper higher risk

Deeper is NOT automatically better niggers
COULD GIVE YOU INFECTION IF NOT DONE PROPERLY!!

People often-
needle too deep
do it too often
use cheap contaminated devices

This can damage skin instead of improving it!

Laser treatments:AYAYAHYPER:

Laser treatments are among the strongest non surgical methods for stimulating skin remodeling and collagen production they work by creating controlled thermal injury in the skin, which triggers wound healing and collagen remodeling.
Compared to creams or supplements, lasers can produce much more noticeable changes but also carry much higher risks and costs.

Your body responds with:

inflammation
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
skin turnover

The repaired skin can become:

smoother
tighter
more even textured

what are they used for? :

Most commonly:
wrinkles
acne scars
sun damage
pigmentation
skin texture
redness
skin tightening

categories of lasers:

Ablative lasers

Examples:

CO2 laser
Erbium:YAG

Effects:
strongest resurfacing
major collagen remodeling

But also- highest downtime and highest risk

Potential results

improve:

deep wrinkles
severe sun damage
acne scars
texture

Risks u may ask? :

infection
scarring
pigmentation problems
prolonged redness
texture damage
fat loss in some cases

Recovery can take weeks to monts!!!!!!!!

Fractional lasers

Examples:
fractional CO2
Fraxel-type lasers

Instead of removing all skin evenly they create microscopic columns of injury surrounded by healthy skin.

This allows:
faster healing
less downtime
still significant remodeling

Non-ablative lasers

Less aggressive
They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

If u have collagen your skin is shiny, healthy, elastic, youthful
And if u have low collagen u look old, wrinkly, you look like youre melting.
but it isnt only about the face it also speeds up recovery and healing, also essential for bone health, tendons, scar healing and bulding muscle.

Your body makes collagen mainly from amino acids plus vitamin

Protein intake
Eggs
Fish
Meat
Dairy
Soy
Legumes
Whey protein

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation.

Citrus
Kiwi
Bell peppers
Berries

Minerals

Copper
Zinc
Iron

Gelatin and collagen

Bone broth
Skin-on chicken
Pork skin
Now the peptides:

Matrixyl-
stimulate fibroblasts
increase collagen production
reduce wrinkles
Matrixyl 3000-
collagen stimulation
anti aging signaling

GHK-Cu-
wound healing
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
anti inflammatory effects
PROBABLY COPE BUT CAN HELP!

Argireline-
Mostly affects muscle signaling rather than directly increasing collagen.
Evidence is modest.

BPC-157-
tendon healing
ligament healing
gut repair
angiogenesis
risks? :
unknown long-term effects
questionable sourcing
contamination risk

TB-500-
tissue repair
wound healing
recovery
cell migration
angiogenesis
connective tissue remodeling

CJC-1295-
Indirectly may increase collagen synthesis often stacked with Ipamorelin

Epitalon-
anti-aging
telomerase activation
longevity

ARA-290-
Experimental tissue repair peptide and still highly untrustable.

Sleep helps collagen mainly because a large amount of tissue repair and regeneration is coordinated during deep sleep.
growth hormone pulses increase
tissue repair activity rises
protein synthesis increasesView attachment 50164

GH indirectly supports:

fibroblast activity
collagen synthesis
wound repair

Fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen

During sleep your body increases:
protein synthesis
tissue remodeling

Good sleep:

supports normal collagen maintenance
slows visible aging somewhat
improves recovery

But it does NOT:

permanently stop aging
massively increase collagen beyond biological limits

how people who dont sleep enough often look:

puffier
more wrinkled
more inflamed

The major collagen-destroying processes are:

UV damage
inflammation
oxidative stress
smoking! yall niggas think u tuff for smoking you just a bloatcel boyo
glycation
chronic cortisol elevation

Those are one of the main causes of:
wrinkles
sagging
photoaging

Best interventions

daily SPF 30–50
avoid chronic tanning

Smoking massively accelerates collagen destruction, increases oxidative stress
Things that worsen chronic inflammation? :

obesity
excessive alcohol
chronic stress
ultra processed diets
Things that help? :

exercise
sleep
omega-3 intake

Glycation damages collagen by making fibers:
weaker
less elastic

This creates:

wrinkles
vascular aging
tissue stiffness

Heavy alcohol:

increases oxidative stress
worsens inflammation
dehydrates skin

Now the retinoids!

Retinoids are one of the most evidence backed classes of compounds for improving skin texture, reducing acne, and preserving and increasing skin collagen
They are vitamin A derivatives that affect gene expression in skin cells
For facial collagen and anti aging, retinoids are among the few topical treatments with strong human evidence

Retinoids can:

increase collagen production
reduce collagen breakdown
improve pigmentation
reduce acne
smooth fine wrinkles
thicken parts of the skin over time

Main types of retinoids:

1. Retinyl esters

retinyl palmitate
Pros:

less irritating

Cons:

weaker effects
less evidence

2. Retinol

Most common retinoid.
Pros:

effective
accessible

Cons:

slower results than prescription retinoids

Good beginner option id say

3. retinaldehyde

stronger than retinol
less irritating than tretinoin

4. Adapalene

Differin

Pros:

stable
often less irritating
good for acne

5. Tretinoin

Most studied retinoid.
Prescription in many countries.

collagen stimulation

6. Tazarotene

Used for:
acne
psoriasis
photoaging

more irritating.

Can produce strong results but with higher irritation risk.

Micro needling (prolly my fav method for begginers)

Microneedling is a procedure that creates many tiny controlled punctures in the skin to trigger a wound-healing response.
The goal is to stimulate:
View attachment 50170
collagen production
elastin remodeling
skin turnover

It’s one of the more evidenc supported non surgical collagen stimulation methods for the face.

Basic idea

Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin.

body responds by activating:

fibroblasts
growth factors
collagen remodeling pathways

can improve:

acne scars
fine wrinkles
texture
stretch marks

How it affects collagen
The injury response can stimulate:

collagen I
collagen III

The skin essentially tries to repair itself and may rebuild tissue in a smoother

What microneedling is best for

acne scars
skin texture
mild wrinkles

enlarged pores
stretch marks
pigmentation support

Types of microneedling

1. Dermaroller

Rolling cylinder with needles.
less precise
more skin dragging

2. Dermapen

Usually preferred professionally because:

more controlled
adjustable depth
less tearing

3. RF

Can produce stronger remodeling.
more expensive
more aggressive
higher risk

why does needle depth matters? :

0.25 mm superficial product penetration
0.5 mm mild collagen stimulation
1.0–1.5 mm acne scars/ wrinkles
deeper higher risk

Deeper is NOT automatically better niggers
COULD GIVE YOU INFECTION IF NOT DONE PROPERLY!!

People often-
needle too deep
do it too often
use cheap contaminated devices

This can damage skin instead of improving it!

Laser treatments:AYAYAHYPER:

Laser treatments are among the strongest non surgical methods for stimulating skin remodeling and collagen production they work by creating controlled thermal injury in the skin, which triggers wound healing and collagen remodeling.
Compared to creams or supplements, lasers can produce much more noticeable changes but also carry much higher risks and costs.

Your body responds with:

inflammation
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
skin turnover

The repaired skin can become:

smoother
tighter
more even textured

what are they used for? :

Most commonly:
wrinkles
acne scars
sun damage
pigmentation
skin texture
redness
skin tightening

categories of lasers:

Ablative lasers

Examples:

CO2 laser
Erbium:YAG

Effects:
strongest resurfacing
major collagen remodeling

But also- highest downtime and highest risk

Potential results

improve:

deep wrinkles
severe sun damage
acne scars
texture

Risks u may ask? :

infection
scarring
pigmentation problems
prolonged redness
texture damage
fat loss in some cases

Recovery can take weeks to monts!!!!!!!!

Fractional lasers

Examples:
fractional CO2
Fraxel-type lasers

Instead of removing all skin evenly they create microscopic columns of injury surrounded by healthy skin.

This allows:
faster healing
less downtime
still significant remodeling

Non-ablative lasers

Less aggressive
They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

pigmentation
redness
sun damage

Strongest uses

acne scars
severe sun damage
texture issues
But they do NOT:

stop aging permanently
fully replace surgery
create flawless skin forever

Hormones?

Hormones play a major role in collagen because they regulate how actively your skin and connective tissue build, maintain, or break down structural proteins.

Estrogen

Estrogen is one of the strongest natural hormones.

What it does:

increases collagen production in skin
improves skin thickness and hydration
reduces collagen degrading enzymes
improves wound healing

What happens when it drops:

hinner skin
more wrinkles
reduced elasticity

Testosterone

Positive effects:

supports muscle mass
may increase skin thickness slightly
supports overall anabolic state

Negative or neutral effects:

not a strong direct collagen stimulator
high levels don’t necessarily improve skin quality!
conversion to DHT can affect oil production (acne risk)

Growth hormone GH and IGF-1

These are some of the most important hormones for tissue repair

Effects:

increases protein synthesis
stimulates fibroblasts
supports collagen production
improves wound healing

Where it matters most:

skin repair
tendon healing
recovery from injury

Downsides when excessive:

insulin resistance
fluid retention

Cortisol the collagen destroyer hormone

Cortisol is the biggest hormonal factor in collagen breakdown as we already mentioned

Chronic high cortisol causes:

increased MMPs
reduced fibroblast activity
slower wound healing

Common causes:

chronic stress
poor sleep
overtraining

Thyroid hormones T3 and T4

Thyroid function affects skin metabolism.

bad thyroid :

dry skin
slower repair
reduced collagen turnover

good thyroid

can accelerate tissue breakdown
thinning skin in severe cases

Insulin

Positive:

supports nutrient uptake
can support tissue building

Negative

promotes glycation
glycation damages collagen
associated with accelerated skin aging

Collagen stimulators

Collagen stimulators are anything that pushes your body to build new collagen rather than just supplying collagen or preventing its breakdown

They fall into three big categories:

: topical/medical skincare stimulators
: procedures that trigger wound-healing
: internal biological stimulators

Topical collagen stimulators

Retinoids-

we already talked abt them

Procedure based collagen stimulators

Microneedling-

we alr talked abt them NIGGA

Internal collagen stimulators
Peptides-
NIGGA read about them folk we alr talked abt them too

other methods with little to no evidence

Collagen supplements (powders)

Claim: Oral collagen “rebuilds” skin, hair, joints
Evidence: Moderate but limited.

Some small randomized trials show modest improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles after 8 to12 weeks.
Effects are small and inconsistent
Studies often funded by supplement companies
Not clearly better than just adequate protein intake
Probably not useless, but not transformative.

Hyaluronic acid supplements

Claim: Improves skin moisture supports collagen.

Evidence: weak

Some small studies show slight improvements in hydration or elasticity.
Mechanism unclear, bioavailability debated
Possibly mild skin hydration benefit

Red light therapy

Claim: Stimulates fibroblasts

Evidence: mixed but kinda trustable

Some clinical studies show improved wrinkles and skin texture.
Study quality varies
At-home devices often weaker than clinical ones

Topical collagen creams

Claim: Creams “rebuild collagen”

Evidence: stupid and weak

Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate skin meaningfully
Mostly acts as a classic moisturizer not a collagen hack:banderas:
Hydration effect only, not true collagen building.

Exercise

Claim: Exercise increases connective tissue quality.

Evidence: for MUSCLES yea nigga but face??

Mechanical loading stimulates collagen remodeling in tendons/ligaments.
Systemic skin effects are less clear but possible via circulation and signaling.

I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT FACIAL EXERCISES?! NIGGER

High risk methods you should only try if at ur lowest nigga

the risky stuff people talk about usually isn’t directly collagen-boosting so much as aggressively triggering skin remodeling or stress responses

---high dose retinoids---View attachment 50189
---chemical peeling---
---laser resurfacing---
---too much microneedling too often with high needle lenghts---
---CRAZY uv exposure---
---steroid misuse---
---unregulated peptides---

So the best routine?

Preventing breakdown (UV, smoking, glycation)
Providing building blocks (protein + vitamin C)
Mild stimulation of remodeling (retinoids, controlled mechanical stress, dermastamping)

Everything else is secondary.
so sun protection, protein intake, vitamin A/C/all the others needed for better skin, retinoids, microneedling, dietmax, (optional peptides), sleepmax

WORST COPE METHODS PEOPLE TRY

collagen creams
collagen timing (claim: Taking collagen at specific times maximizes skin uptake)
High-dose vitamin C mega-stacking
Hyaluronic acid pills
Over exfoliation
juice cleanses for skin collagen

WORKED ON THIS FOR HOURSSSS PLEASE DONT FORGET TO REP AND LIKE/BUMP THIS THREAD IF U LIKED IT AND FOUND IT HELPFUL, LOVE YOU ALL NIGGERS

tretinoin .05%, 5mg GHK daily, 4iu HGH daily are all the major things i notice making a difference here but my skin is glass

good thread i think you missed opportunity to cover collagen synthesis from sum steroids like primo or anavar, but i did learn a lot

It’s one of the more evidenc supported non surgical collagen stimulation methods for the face.

Basic idea

Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin.

body responds by activating:

fibroblasts
growth factors
collagen remodeling pathways

can improve:

acne scars
fine wrinkles
texture
stretch marks

How it affects collagen
The injury response can stimulate:

collagen I
collagen III

The skin essentially tries to repair itself and may rebuild tissue in a smoother

What microneedling is best for

acne scars
skin texture
mild wrinkles

enlarged pores
stretch marks
pigmentation support

Types of microneedling

1. Dermaroller

Rolling cylinder with needles.
less precise
more skin dragging

2. Dermapen

Usually preferred professionally because:

more controlled
adjustable depth
less tearing

3. RF

Can produce stronger remodeling.
more expensive
more aggressive
higher risk

why does needle depth matters? :

0.25 mm superficial product penetration
0.5 mm mild collagen stimulation
1.0–1.5 mm acne scars/ wrinkles
deeper higher risk

Deeper is NOT automatically better niggers
COULD GIVE YOU INFECTION IF NOT DONE PROPERLY!!

People often-
needle too deep
do it too often
use cheap contaminated devices

This can damage skin instead of improving it!

Laser treatments:AYAYAHYPER:

Laser treatments are among the strongest non surgical methods for stimulating skin remodeling and collagen production they work by creating controlled thermal injury in the skin, which triggers wound healing and collagen remodeling.
Compared to creams or supplements, lasers can produce much more noticeable changes but also carry much higher risks and costs.

Your body responds with:

inflammation
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
skin turnover

The repaired skin can become:

smoother
tighter
more even textured

what are they used for? :

Most commonly:
wrinkles
acne scars
sun damage
pigmentation
skin texture
redness
skin tightening

categories of lasers:

Ablative lasers

Examples:

CO2 laser
Erbium:YAG

Effects:
strongest resurfacing
major collagen remodeling

But also- highest downtime and highest risk

Potential results

improve:

deep wrinkles
severe sun damage
acne scars
texture

Risks u may ask? :

infection
scarring
pigmentation problems
prolonged redness
texture damage
fat loss in some cases

Recovery can take weeks to monts!!!!!!!!

Fractional lasers

Examples:
fractional CO2
Fraxel-type lasers

Instead of removing all skin evenly they create microscopic columns of injury surrounded by healthy skin.

This allows:
faster healing
less downtime
still significant remodeling

Non-ablative lasers

Less aggressive
They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

pigmentation
redness
sun damage

Strongest uses

acne scars
severe sun damage
texture issues
But they do NOT:

stop aging permanently
fully replace surgery
create flawless skin forever

Hormones?

Hormones play a major role in collagen because they regulate how actively your skin and connective tissue build, maintain, or break down structural proteins.

Estrogen

Estrogen is one of the strongest natural hormones.

What it does:

increases collagen production in skin
improves skin thickness and hydration
reduces collagen degrading enzymes
improves wound healing

What happens when it drops:

hinner skin
more wrinkles
reduced elasticity

Testosterone

Positive effects:

supports muscle mass
may increase skin thickness slightly
supports overall anabolic state

Negative or neutral effects:

not a strong direct collagen stimulator
high levels don’t necessarily improve skin quality!
conversion to DHT can affect oil production (acne risk)

Growth hormone GH and IGF-1

These are some of the most important hormones for tissue repair

Effects:

increases protein synthesis
stimulates fibroblasts
supports collagen production
improves wound healing

Where it matters most:

skin repair
tendon healing
recovery from injury

Downsides when excessive:

insulin resistance
fluid retention

Cortisol the collagen destroyer hormone

Cortisol is the biggest hormonal factor in collagen breakdown as we already mentioned

Chronic high cortisol causes:

increased MMPs
reduced fibroblast activity
slower wound healing

Common causes:

chronic stress
poor sleep
overtraining

Thyroid hormones T3 and T4

Thyroid function affects skin metabolism.

bad thyroid :

dry skin
slower repair
reduced collagen turnover

good thyroid

can accelerate tissue breakdown
thinning skin in severe cases

Insulin

Positive:

supports nutrient uptake
can support tissue building

Negative

promotes glycation
glycation damages collagen
associated with accelerated skin aging

Collagen stimulators

Collagen stimulators are anything that pushes your body to build new collagen rather than just supplying collagen or preventing its breakdown

They fall into three big categories:

: topical/medical skincare stimulators
: procedures that trigger wound-healing
: internal biological stimulators

Topical collagen stimulators

Retinoids-

we already talked abt them

Procedure based collagen stimulators

Microneedling-

we alr talked abt them NIGGA

Internal collagen stimulators
Peptides-
NIGGA read about them folk we alr talked abt them too

other methods with little to no evidence

Collagen supplements (powders)

Claim: Oral collagen “rebuilds” skin, hair, joints
Evidence: Moderate but limited.

Some small randomized trials show modest improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles after 8 to12 weeks.
Effects are small and inconsistent
Studies often funded by supplement companies
Not clearly better than just adequate protein intake
Probably not useless, but not transformative.

Hyaluronic acid supplements

Claim: Improves skin moisture supports collagen.

Evidence: weak

Some small studies show slight improvements in hydration or elasticity.
Mechanism unclear, bioavailability debated
Possibly mild skin hydration benefit

Red light therapy

Claim: Stimulates fibroblasts

Evidence: mixed but kinda trustable

Some clinical studies show improved wrinkles and skin texture.
Study quality varies
At-home devices often weaker than clinical ones

Topical collagen creams

Claim: Creams “rebuild collagen”

Evidence: stupid and weak

Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate skin meaningfully
Mostly acts as a classic moisturizer not a collagen hack:banderas:
Hydration effect only, not true collagen building.

Exercise

Claim: Exercise increases connective tissue quality.

Evidence: for MUSCLES yea nigga but face??

Mechanical loading stimulates collagen remodeling in tendons/ligaments.
Systemic skin effects are less clear but possible via circulation and signaling.

I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT FACIAL EXERCISES?! NIGGER

High risk methods you should only try if at ur lowest nigga

the risky stuff people talk about usually isn’t directly collagen-boosting so much as aggressively triggering skin remodeling or stress responses

---high dose retinoids---View attachment 50189
---chemical peeling---
---laser resurfacing---
---too much microneedling too often with high needle lenghts---
---CRAZY uv exposure---
---steroid misuse---
---unregulated peptides---

So the best routine?

Preventing breakdown (UV, smoking, glycation)
Providing building blocks (protein + vitamin C)
Mild stimulation of remodeling (retinoids, controlled mechanical stress, dermastamping)

Everything else is secondary.
so sun protection, protein intake, vitamin A/C/all the others needed for better skin, retinoids, microneedling, dietmax, (optional peptides), sleepmax

WORST COPE METHODS PEOPLE TRY

collagen creams
collagen timing (claim: Taking collagen at specific times maximizes skin uptake)
High-dose vitamin C mega-stacking
Hyaluronic acid pills
Over exfoliation
juice cleanses for skin collagen

If u have collagen your skin is shiny, healthy, elastic, youthful
And if u have low collagen u look old, wrinkly, you look like youre melting.
but it isnt only about the face it also speeds up recovery and healing, also essential for bone health, tendons, scar healing and bulding muscle.

Your body makes collagen mainly from amino acids plus vitamin

Protein intake
Eggs
Fish
Meat
Dairy
Soy
Legumes
Whey protein

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation.

Citrus
Kiwi
Bell peppers
Berries

Minerals

Copper
Zinc
Iron

Gelatin and collagen

Bone broth
Skin-on chicken
Pork skin
Now the peptides:

Matrixyl-
stimulate fibroblasts
increase collagen production
reduce wrinkles
Matrixyl 3000-
collagen stimulation
anti aging signaling

GHK-Cu-
wound healing
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
anti inflammatory effects
PROBABLY COPE BUT CAN HELP!

Argireline-
Mostly affects muscle signaling rather than directly increasing collagen.
Evidence is modest.

BPC-157-
tendon healing
ligament healing
gut repair
angiogenesis
risks? :
unknown long-term effects
questionable sourcing
contamination risk

TB-500-
tissue repair
wound healing
recovery
cell migration
angiogenesis
connective tissue remodeling

CJC-1295-
Indirectly may increase collagen synthesis often stacked with Ipamorelin

Epitalon-
anti-aging
telomerase activation
longevity

ARA-290-
Experimental tissue repair peptide and still highly untrustable.

Sleep helps collagen mainly because a large amount of tissue repair and regeneration is coordinated during deep sleep.
growth hormone pulses increase
tissue repair activity rises
protein synthesis increasesView attachment 50164

GH indirectly supports:

fibroblast activity
collagen synthesis
wound repair

Fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen

During sleep your body increases:
protein synthesis
tissue remodeling

Good sleep:

supports normal collagen maintenance
slows visible aging somewhat
improves recovery

But it does NOT:

permanently stop aging
massively increase collagen beyond biological limits

how people who dont sleep enough often look:

puffier
more wrinkled
more inflamed

The major collagen-destroying processes are:

UV damage
inflammation
oxidative stress
smoking! yall niggas think u tuff for smoking you just a bloatcel boyo
glycation
chronic cortisol elevation

Those are one of the main causes of:
wrinkles
sagging
photoaging

Best interventions

daily SPF 30–50
avoid chronic tanning

Smoking massively accelerates collagen destruction, increases oxidative stress
Things that worsen chronic inflammation? :

obesity
excessive alcohol
chronic stress
ultra processed diets
Things that help? :

exercise
sleep
omega-3 intake

Glycation damages collagen by making fibers:
weaker
less elastic

This creates:

wrinkles
vascular aging
tissue stiffness

Heavy alcohol:

increases oxidative stress
worsens inflammation
dehydrates skin

Now the retinoids!

Retinoids are one of the most evidence backed classes of compounds for improving skin texture, reducing acne, and preserving and increasing skin collagen
They are vitamin A derivatives that affect gene expression in skin cells
For facial collagen and anti aging, retinoids are among the few topical treatments with strong human evidence

Retinoids can:

increase collagen production
reduce collagen breakdown
improve pigmentation
reduce acne
smooth fine wrinkles
thicken parts of the skin over time

Main types of retinoids:

1. Retinyl esters

retinyl palmitate
Pros:

less irritating

Cons:

weaker effects
less evidence

2. Retinol

Most common retinoid.
Pros:

effective
accessible

Cons:

slower results than prescription retinoids

Good beginner option id say

3. retinaldehyde

stronger than retinol
less irritating than tretinoin

4. Adapalene

Differin

Pros:

stable
often less irritating
good for acne

5. Tretinoin

Most studied retinoid.
Prescription in many countries.

collagen stimulation

6. Tazarotene

Used for:
acne
psoriasis
photoaging

more irritating.

Can produce strong results but with higher irritation risk.

Micro needling (prolly my fav method for begginers)

Microneedling is a procedure that creates many tiny controlled punctures in the skin to trigger a wound-healing response.

They fall into three big categories:

: topical/medical skincare stimulators
: procedures that trigger wound-healing
: internal biological stimulators

Topical collagen stimulators

Retinoids-

we already talked abt them

Procedure based collagen stimulators

Microneedling-

we alr talked abt them NIGGA

Internal collagen stimulators
Peptides-
NIGGA read about them folk we alr talked abt them too

other methods with little to no evidence

Collagen supplements (powders)

Claim: Oral collagen “rebuilds” skin, hair, joints
Evidence: Moderate but limited.

Some small randomized trials show modest improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles after 8 to12 weeks.
Effects are small and inconsistent
Studies often funded by supplement companies
Not clearly better than just adequate protein intake
Probably not useless, but not transformative.

Hyaluronic acid supplements

Claim: Improves skin moisture supports collagen.

Evidence: weak

Some small studies show slight improvements in hydration or elasticity.
Mechanism unclear, bioavailability debated
Possibly mild skin hydration benefit

Red light therapy

Claim: Stimulates fibroblasts

Evidence: mixed but kinda trustable

Some clinical studies show improved wrinkles and skin texture.
Study quality varies
At-home devices often weaker than clinical ones

Topical collagen creams

Claim: Creams “rebuild collagen”

Evidence: stupid and weak

Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate skin meaningfully
Mostly acts as a classic moisturizer not a collagen hack:banderas:
Hydration effect only, not true collagen building.

Exercise

Claim: Exercise increases connective tissue quality.

Evidence: for MUSCLES yea nigga but face??

Mechanical loading stimulates collagen remodeling in tendons/ligaments.
Systemic skin effects are less clear but possible via circulation and signaling.

I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT FACIAL EXERCISES?! NIGGER

High risk methods you should only try if at ur lowest nigga

the risky stuff people talk about usually isn’t directly collagen-boosting so much as aggressively triggering skin remodeling or stress responses

---high dose retinoids---View attachment 50189
---chemical peeling---
---laser resurfacing---
---too much microneedling too often with high needle lenghts---
---CRAZY uv exposure---
---steroid misuse---
---unregulated peptides---

So the best routine?

Preventing breakdown (UV, smoking, glycation)
Providing building blocks (protein + vitamin C)
Mild stimulation of remodeling (retinoids, controlled mechanical stress, dermastamping)

Everything else is secondary.
so sun protection, protein intake, vitamin A/C/all the others needed for better skin, retinoids, microneedling, dietmax, (optional peptides), sleepmax

WORST COPE METHODS PEOPLE TRY

collagen creams
collagen timing (claim: Taking collagen at specific times maximizes skin uptake)
High-dose vitamin C mega-stacking
Hyaluronic acid pills
Over exfoliation
juice cleanses for skin collagen

If u have collagen your skin is shiny, healthy, elastic, youthful
And if u have low collagen u look old, wrinkly, you look like youre melting.
but it isnt only about the face it also speeds up recovery and healing, also essential for bone health, tendons, scar healing and bulding muscle.

Your body makes collagen mainly from amino acids plus vitamin

Protein intake
Eggs
Fish
Meat
Dairy
Soy
Legumes
Whey protein

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation.

Citrus
Kiwi
Bell peppers
Berries

Minerals

Copper
Zinc
Iron

Gelatin and collagen

Bone broth
Skin-on chicken
Pork skin
Now the peptides:

Matrixyl-
stimulate fibroblasts
increase collagen production
reduce wrinkles
Matrixyl 3000-
collagen stimulation
anti aging signaling

GHK-Cu-
wound healing
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
anti inflammatory effects
PROBABLY COPE BUT CAN HELP!

Argireline-
Mostly affects muscle signaling rather than directly increasing collagen.
Evidence is modest.

BPC-157-
tendon healing
ligament healing
gut repair
angiogenesis
risks? :
unknown long-term effects
questionable sourcing
contamination risk

TB-500-
tissue repair
wound healing
recovery
cell migration
angiogenesis
connective tissue remodeling

CJC-1295-
Indirectly may increase collagen synthesis often stacked with Ipamorelin

Epitalon-
anti-aging
telomerase activation
longevity

ARA-290-
Experimental tissue repair peptide and still highly untrustable.

Sleep helps collagen mainly because a large amount of tissue repair and regeneration is coordinated during deep sleep.
growth hormone pulses increase
tissue repair activity rises
protein synthesis increasesView attachment 50164

GH indirectly supports:

fibroblast activity
collagen synthesis
wound repair

Fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen

During sleep your body increases:
protein synthesis
tissue remodeling

Good sleep:

supports normal collagen maintenance
slows visible aging somewhat
improves recovery

But it does NOT:

permanently stop aging
massively increase collagen beyond biological limits

how people who dont sleep enough often look:

puffier
more wrinkled
more inflamed

The major collagen-destroying processes are:

UV damage
inflammation
oxidative stress
smoking! yall niggas think u tuff for smoking you just a bloatcel boyo
glycation
chronic cortisol elevation

Those are one of the main causes of:
wrinkles
sagging
photoaging

Best interventions

daily SPF 30–50
avoid chronic tanning

Smoking massively accelerates collagen destruction, increases oxidative stress
Things that worsen chronic inflammation? :

obesity
excessive alcohol
chronic stress
ultra processed diets
Things that help? :

exercise
sleep
omega-3 intake

Glycation damages collagen by making fibers:
weaker
less elastic

This creates:

wrinkles
vascular aging
tissue stiffness

Heavy alcohol:

increases oxidative stress
worsens inflammation
dehydrates skin

Now the retinoids!

Retinoids are one of the most evidence backed classes of compounds for improving skin texture, reducing acne, and preserving and increasing skin collagen
They are vitamin A derivatives that affect gene expression in skin cells
For facial collagen and anti aging, retinoids are among the few topical treatments with strong human evidence

Retinoids can:

increase collagen production
reduce collagen breakdown
improve pigmentation
reduce acne
smooth fine wrinkles
thicken parts of the skin over time

Main types of retinoids:

1. Retinyl esters

retinyl palmitate
Pros:

less irritating

Cons:

weaker effects
less evidence

2. Retinol

Most common retinoid.
Pros:

effective
accessible

Cons:

slower results than prescription retinoids

Good beginner option id say

3. retinaldehyde

stronger than retinol
less irritating than tretinoin

4. Adapalene

Differin

Pros:

stable
often less irritating
good for acne

5. Tretinoin

Most studied retinoid.
Prescription in many countries.

collagen stimulation

6. Tazarotene

Used for:
acne
psoriasis
photoaging

more irritating.

Can produce strong results but with higher irritation risk.

Micro needling (prolly my fav method for begginers)

Microneedling is a procedure that creates many tiny controlled punctures in the skin to trigger a wound-healing response.
The goal is to stimulate:
View attachment 50170
collagen production
elastin remodeling
skin turnover

It’s one of the more evidenc supported non surgical collagen stimulation methods for the face.

Basic idea

Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin.

body responds by activating:

fibroblasts
growth factors
collagen remodeling pathways

can improve:

acne scars
fine wrinkles
texture
stretch marks

How it affects collagen
The injury response can stimulate:

collagen I
collagen III

The skin essentially tries to repair itself and may rebuild tissue in a smoother

What microneedling is best for

acne scars
skin texture
mild wrinkles

enlarged pores
stretch marks
pigmentation support

Types of microneedling

1. Dermaroller

Rolling cylinder with needles.
less precise
more skin dragging

2. Dermapen

Usually preferred professionally because:

more controlled
adjustable depth
less tearing

3. RF

Can produce stronger remodeling.
more expensive
more aggressive
higher risk

why does needle depth matters? :

0.25 mm superficial product penetration
0.5 mm mild collagen stimulation
1.0–1.5 mm acne scars/ wrinkles
deeper higher risk

Deeper is NOT automatically better niggers
COULD GIVE YOU INFECTION IF NOT DONE PROPERLY!!

People often-
needle too deep
do it too often
use cheap contaminated devices

This can damage skin instead of improving it!

Laser treatments:AYAYAHYPER:

Laser treatments are among the strongest non surgical methods for stimulating skin remodeling and collagen production they work by creating controlled thermal injury in the skin, which triggers wound healing and collagen remodeling.
Compared to creams or supplements, lasers can produce much more noticeable changes but also carry much higher risks and costs.

Your body responds with:

inflammation
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
skin turnover

The repaired skin can become:

smoother
tighter
more even textured

what are they used for? :

Most commonly:
wrinkles
acne scars
sun damage
pigmentation
skin texture
redness
skin tightening

categories of lasers:

Ablative lasers

Examples:

CO2 laser
Erbium:YAG

Effects:
strongest resurfacing
major collagen remodeling

But also- highest downtime and highest risk

Potential results

improve:

deep wrinkles
severe sun damage
acne scars
texture

Risks u may ask? :

infection
scarring
pigmentation problems
prolonged redness
texture damage
fat loss in some cases

Recovery can take weeks to monts!!!!!!!!

Fractional lasers

Examples:
fractional CO2
Fraxel-type lasers

Instead of removing all skin evenly they create microscopic columns of injury surrounded by healthy skin.

This allows:
faster healing
less downtime
still significant remodeling

Non-ablative lasers

Less aggressive
They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

pigmentation
redness
sun damage

Strongest uses

acne scars
severe sun damage
texture issues
But they do NOT:

stop aging permanently
fully replace surgery
create flawless skin forever

Hormones?

Hormones play a major role in collagen because they regulate how actively your skin and connective tissue build, maintain, or break down structural proteins.

Estrogen

Estrogen is one of the strongest natural hormones.

What it does:

increases collagen production in skin
improves skin thickness and hydration
reduces collagen degrading enzymes
improves wound healing

What happens when it drops:

hinner skin
more wrinkles
reduced elasticity

Testosterone

Positive effects:

supports muscle mass
may increase skin thickness slightly
supports overall anabolic state

Negative or neutral effects:

not a strong direct collagen stimulator
high levels don’t necessarily improve skin quality!
conversion to DHT can affect oil production (acne risk)

Growth hormone GH and IGF-1

These are some of the most important hormones for tissue repair

Effects:

increases protein synthesis
stimulates fibroblasts
supports collagen production
improves wound healing

Where it matters most:

skin repair
tendon healing
recovery from injury

Downsides when excessive:

insulin resistance
fluid retention

Cortisol the collagen destroyer hormone

Cortisol is the biggest hormonal factor in collagen breakdown as we already mentioned

Chronic high cortisol causes:

increased MMPs
reduced fibroblast activity
slower wound healing

Common causes:

chronic stress
poor sleep
overtraining

Thyroid hormones T3 and T4

Thyroid function affects skin metabolism.

bad thyroid :

dry skin
slower repair
reduced collagen turnover

good thyroid

can accelerate tissue breakdown
thinning skin in severe cases

Insulin

Positive:

supports nutrient uptake
can support tissue building

Negative

promotes glycation
glycation damages collagen
associated with accelerated skin aging

Collagen stimulators

Damm bro ts Peak ash, Im using some retinoid rn but my skin is very dry what would you reccomend? I skipped a bunch and I found something kinda like a chemical peel but not in the tradiniotnal way you can leave it on after cleasning at night and forget it worked great for me but it can irritate (https://theordinary.com/en-us/glycolic-acid-7-exfoliating-toner-100418.html) its not life chaning but worth a try. and W outro music ( ty for tagging means sum to me)

BPC-157-
tendon healing
ligament healing
gut repair
angiogenesis
risks? :
unknown long-term effects
questionable sourcing
contamination risk

TB-500-
tissue repair
wound healing
recovery
cell migration
angiogenesis
connective tissue remodeling

CJC-1295-
Indirectly may increase collagen synthesis often stacked with Ipamorelin

Epitalon-
anti-aging
telomerase activation
longevity

ARA-290-
Experimental tissue repair peptide and still highly untrustable.

Sleep helps collagen mainly because a large amount of tissue repair and regeneration is coordinated during deep sleep.
growth hormone pulses increase
tissue repair activity rises
protein synthesis increasesView attachment 50164

GH indirectly supports:

fibroblast activity
collagen synthesis
wound repair

Fibroblasts are the cells that produce collagen

During sleep your body increases:
protein synthesis
tissue remodeling

Good sleep:

supports normal collagen maintenance
slows visible aging somewhat
improves recovery

But it does NOT:

permanently stop aging
massively increase collagen beyond biological limits

how people who dont sleep enough often look:

puffier
more wrinkled
more inflamed

The major collagen-destroying processes are:

UV damage
inflammation
oxidative stress
smoking! yall niggas think u tuff for smoking you just a bloatcel boyo
glycation
chronic cortisol elevation

Those are one of the main causes of:
wrinkles
sagging
photoaging

Best interventions

daily SPF 30–50
avoid chronic tanning

Smoking massively accelerates collagen destruction, increases oxidative stress
Things that worsen chronic inflammation? :

obesity
excessive alcohol
chronic stress
ultra processed diets
Things that help? :

exercise
sleep
omega-3 intake

Glycation damages collagen by making fibers:
weaker
less elastic

This creates:

wrinkles
vascular aging
tissue stiffness

Heavy alcohol:

increases oxidative stress
worsens inflammation
dehydrates skin

Now the retinoids!

Retinoids are one of the most evidence backed classes of compounds for improving skin texture, reducing acne, and preserving and increasing skin collagen
They are vitamin A derivatives that affect gene expression in skin cells
For facial collagen and anti aging, retinoids are among the few topical treatments with strong human evidence

Retinoids can:

increase collagen production
reduce collagen breakdown
improve pigmentation
reduce acne
smooth fine wrinkles
thicken parts of the skin over time

Main types of retinoids:

1. Retinyl esters

retinyl palmitate
Pros:

less irritating

Cons:

weaker effects
less evidence

2. Retinol

Most common retinoid.
Pros:

effective
accessible

Cons:

slower results than prescription retinoids

Good beginner option id say

3. retinaldehyde

stronger than retinol
less irritating than tretinoin

4. Adapalene

Differin

Pros:

stable
often less irritating
good for acne

5. Tretinoin

Most studied retinoid.
Prescription in many countries.

collagen stimulation

6. Tazarotene

Used for:
acne
psoriasis
photoaging

more irritating.

Can produce strong results but with higher irritation risk.

Micro needling (prolly my fav method for begginers)

Microneedling is a procedure that creates many tiny controlled punctures in the skin to trigger a wound-healing response.
The goal is to stimulate:
View attachment 50170
collagen production
elastin remodeling
skin turnover

It’s one of the more evidenc supported non surgical collagen stimulation methods for the face.

Basic idea

Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin.

body responds by activating:

fibroblasts
growth factors
collagen remodeling pathways

can improve:

acne scars
fine wrinkles
texture
stretch marks

How it affects collagen
The injury response can stimulate:

collagen I
collagen III

The skin essentially tries to repair itself and may rebuild tissue in a smoother

What microneedling is best for

acne scars
skin texture
mild wrinkles

enlarged pores
stretch marks
pigmentation support

Types of microneedling

1. Dermaroller

Rolling cylinder with needles.
less precise
more skin dragging

2. Dermapen

Usually preferred professionally because:

more controlled
adjustable depth
less tearing

3. RF

Can produce stronger remodeling.
more expensive
more aggressive
higher risk

why does needle depth matters? :

0.25 mm superficial product penetration
0.5 mm mild collagen stimulation
1.0–1.5 mm acne scars/ wrinkles
deeper higher risk

Deeper is NOT automatically better niggers
COULD GIVE YOU INFECTION IF NOT DONE PROPERLY!!

People often-
needle too deep
do it too often
use cheap contaminated devices

This can damage skin instead of improving it!

Laser treatments:AYAYAHYPER:

Laser treatments are among the strongest non surgical methods for stimulating skin remodeling and collagen production they work by creating controlled thermal injury in the skin, which triggers wound healing and collagen remodeling.
Compared to creams or supplements, lasers can produce much more noticeable changes but also carry much higher risks and costs.

Your body responds with:

inflammation
fibroblast activation
collagen remodeling
skin turnover

The repaired skin can become:

smoother
tighter
more even textured

what are they used for? :

Most commonly:
wrinkles
acne scars
sun damage
pigmentation
skin texture
redness
skin tightening

categories of lasers:

Ablative lasers

Examples:

CO2 laser
Erbium:YAG

Effects:
strongest resurfacing
major collagen remodeling

But also- highest downtime and highest risk

Potential results

improve:

deep wrinkles
severe sun damage
acne scars
texture

Risks u may ask? :

infection
scarring
pigmentation problems
prolonged redness
texture damage
fat loss in some cases

Recovery can take weeks to monts!!!!!!!!

Fractional lasers

Examples:
fractional CO2
Fraxel-type lasers

Instead of removing all skin evenly they create microscopic columns of injury surrounded by healthy skin.

This allows:
faster healing
less downtime
still significant remodeling

Non-ablative lasers

Less aggressive
They heat tissue without removing the skin surface.

Pros:

less downtime
lower risk

Cons:

more subtle results
usually require more sessions

IPL

Not technically a laser.
Mostly targets:

pigmentation
redness
sun damage

Strongest uses

acne scars
severe sun damage
texture issues
But they do NOT:

stop aging permanently
fully replace surgery
create flawless skin forever

Hormones?

Hormones play a major role in collagen because they regulate how actively your skin and connective tissue build, maintain, or break down structural proteins.

Estrogen

Estrogen is one of the strongest natural hormones.

What it does:

increases collagen production in skin
improves skin thickness and hydration
reduces collagen degrading enzymes
improves wound healing

What happens when it drops:

hinner skin
more wrinkles
reduced elasticity

Testosterone

Positive effects:

supports muscle mass
may increase skin thickness slightly
supports overall anabolic state

Negative or neutral effects:

not a strong direct collagen stimulator
high levels don’t necessarily improve skin quality!
conversion to DHT can affect oil production (acne risk)

Growth hormone GH and IGF-1

These are some of the most important hormones for tissue repair

Effects:

increases protein synthesis
stimulates fibroblasts
supports collagen production
improves wound healing

Where it matters most:

skin repair
tendon healing
recovery from injury

Downsides when excessive:

insulin resistance
fluid retention

Cortisol the collagen destroyer hormone

Cortisol is the biggest hormonal factor in collagen breakdown as we already mentioned

Chronic high cortisol causes:

increased MMPs
reduced fibroblast activity
slower wound healing

Common causes:

chronic stress
poor sleep
overtraining

Thyroid hormones T3 and T4

Thyroid function affects skin metabolism.

bad thyroid :

dry skin
slower repair
reduced collagen turnover

good thyroid

can accelerate tissue breakdown
thinning skin in severe cases

Insulin

Positive:

supports nutrient uptake
can support tissue building

Negative

promotes glycation
glycation damages collagen
associated with accelerated skin aging

Collagen stimulators

Collagen stimulators are anything that pushes your body to build new collagen rather than just supplying collagen or preventing its breakdown

They fall into three big categories:

: topical/medical skincare stimulators
: procedures that trigger wound-healing
: internal biological stimulators

Topical collagen stimulators

Retinoids-

we already talked abt them

Procedure based collagen stimulators

Microneedling-

we alr talked abt them NIGGA

Internal collagen stimulators
Peptides-
NIGGA read about them folk we alr talked abt them too

other methods with little to no evidence

Collagen supplements (powders)

Claim: Oral collagen “rebuilds” skin, hair, joints
Evidence: Moderate but limited.

Some small randomized trials show modest improvements in skin elasticity, hydration, and wrinkles after 8 to12 weeks.
Effects are small and inconsistent
Studies often funded by supplement companies
Not clearly better than just adequate protein intake
Probably not useless, but not transformative.

Hyaluronic acid supplements

Claim: Improves skin moisture supports collagen.

Evidence: weak

Some small studies show slight improvements in hydration or elasticity.
Mechanism unclear, bioavailability debated
Possibly mild skin hydration benefit

Red light therapy

Claim: Stimulates fibroblasts

Evidence: mixed but kinda trustable

Some clinical studies show improved wrinkles and skin texture.
Study quality varies
At-home devices often weaker than clinical ones

Topical collagen creams

Claim: Creams “rebuild collagen”

Evidence: stupid and weak

Collagen molecules are too large to penetrate skin meaningfully
Mostly acts as a classic moisturizer not a collagen hack:banderas:
Hydration effect only, not true collagen building.

Exercise

Claim: Exercise increases connective tissue quality.

Evidence: for MUSCLES yea nigga but face??

Mechanical loading stimulates collagen remodeling in tendons/ligaments.
Systemic skin effects are less clear but possible via circulation and signaling.

I MEAN DO I EVEN HAVE TO TALK ABOUT FACIAL EXERCISES?! NIGGER

High risk methods you should only try if at ur lowest nigga

the risky stuff people talk about usually isn’t directly collagen-boosting so much as aggressively triggering skin remodeling or stress responses

---high dose retinoids---View attachment 50189
---chemical peeling---
---laser resurfacing---
---too much microneedling too often with high needle lenghts---
---CRAZY uv exposure---
---steroid misuse---
---unregulated peptides---

So the best routine?

Preventing breakdown (UV, smoking, glycation)
Providing building blocks (protein + vitamin C)
Mild stimulation of remodeling (retinoids, controlled mechanical stress, dermastamping)

Everything else is secondary.
so sun protection, protein intake, vitamin A/C/all the others needed for better skin, retinoids, microneedling, dietmax, (optional peptides), sleepmax

WORST COPE METHODS PEOPLE TRY

collagen creams
collagen timing (claim: Taking collagen at specific times maximizes skin uptake)
High-dose vitamin C mega-stacking
Hyaluronic acid pills
Over exfoliation
juice cleanses for skin collagen
