Im 16, will getting my wisdom teeth removed recess me?

I’ve heard speculations of braces recessing and theres actual evidence linked to it.

And ive heard people talk about their experiences with their wisdom teeth being removed and it leads to recession, but theres no actual concrete evidence on it.

So my question is, will it actually recess me or is that some myth

if they're impacted, you have to remove them as they're non functional, removing them won't cause any sort of structural change in your face. if they're not impacted and are fine, obviously keep them.
i assume yours are impacted, so removing them is fine.

removing your wisdom teeth won’t make any aesthetic changes like recession, etc

just a myth, though other teeth might cause recession if removed.

what this guy said, if teeth are already impacted, infected, causing pain and damaging the surrounding teeth and gums/soft tissue then get rid of them, if not, some MSE and IMDO could avoid extracting them by expanding both jaws, by fixing the lack of space, but no everyone is a candidate for MSE or IMDO, specially IMDO because it risks damaging the TMJs

keep impacted wisdom teeth does more harm than good since it can fuck up surrounding molars, which you may have to get extracted, eventually leading to actual bone loss

My teeth are impacted, i have a narrow palette, main reason I need them removed.

Theres a lot of examples of people getting them removed though and overtime they gradually lose bone mass

see, in a 50y old, extracting a tooth triggers disuse atrophy and ABR (alveolar bone resorption), eventually ths leads to volumetric loss of alveolar ridge

in youngcels the healing process is much faster and the body simply remodels, so the bone loss is negligible/zero
