Good for expanding your palate, but people expect external facial gains / width from using it, which is not accurate.
They help widen your smile, that's all.
MSE results from r/orthotropics. I agree, MSE isn't an ascendanigga3000 machine and it's results vary, but most of it's effects directly corrolate to higher dimo, angularity, and harmony. MSE instantly improved this guys FWHR, Angularity, Zygomatic to bigonial width, and gave him a wider nasal bridge and lips.
Also not to mention that it literally just improves your QOL by letting you breath much easier.

It depends entirely on how many mm's your ortho wants to expand. Not all cases are severe as others, and most orthos are bluepilled niggas with licenses that they don't want to lose through stupid decisions like giving 10mm of expansion to an insecure pre-teen. This is why some examples are dramatic and some aren't. Obviously I'll use the ones that prove my point, but you can find many smaller expansions where a huge increase in width isn't necessary.
