I’ve been using taz .1 (no prescription) for about 3 weeks now and the dryness is hell. I stack aquaphor, cerave moisturizer, and sunscreen to moisturize. But the cerave burns now. Should I switch, and what to, or just stop being a pussy?

0.1% taz is pretty rough tbh so that dryness isnt that surprising
If even CeraVe burns your barrier’s probably fucked take a few days off and use a sunscreen and moisturizer then restart less often or switch 0.05% so your skin can actually adapt

Think you should get a prescription, otherwise your skin may get worse which you don't want boyo

Invest into good quality Hyaluronic Acid & SPF 50 +, everything else will just make things worse for you. Look into high quality brands wherever you live, do a bit of research. And please stop using Cerave lol.

Either use a lower strength taz with spf or jus buy accutane instead of coping with topicals

I mean aside from the dryness its been going good so far. Started for shrinkage of pores (specifically in my nose) which has been noticeable. I've been keeping watch

Got it lmao, got the CeraVe as a gift so that's why. Currently at SPF 30 what will 50+ change?

You’re just gonna damage your skin barrier and your skin will get worse then you’ll have a realisation that you need accutane but you’ll purge a crazy amount, it’s what happened to me so stop with the tazarotene and get on accutane now before you regress your skin health

Ight I’ll see if I can get some accutane, I’ve heard rumors about sexual/hormonal side effects have you had any? I know they’re rare but not trying to take any chances
