Yeah, the show always had some underlying political message / discourse behind it, but i really was hoping Erick Kripke would not use the tv show as a tool to express his idiotic irrelevant political opinions, which, as we know he ended up doing anyways, season by season the tv show has been used more and more and more as a fucking tool of political criticism regarding the united states politics than what the actual show should be about.
